Open in kitchen mode
  1. Soak the fine bulgur in lukewarm water and leave it to stand for 20 minutes.
    20 min
  2. Peel the apples and drop them into water with lemon so they do not brown.
  3. Chop the parsley, the spring onion, the red onion and the pickled cucumber.
  4. Start working the kısır with the oil first.
  5. Then work in the pomegranate molasses.
  6. Add the spices and keep working it.
  7. Add the herbs last and mix.
  8. Drain the apples and stir them into the kısır.
  9. Serve.
Tips

The source recipe gave 15 g of black pepper for 500 g of bulgur (about 2.5 tablespoons); that amount makes the kısır inedible, so it was brought back to a realistic measure.
