Omlet (Omelette)
Plain Omelette
One of 15 versions of Omlet (Omelette). The table below shows how their ingredients differ.
Ingredients
- 6 piece egg
- 6 tablespoon milk · or water
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 dessert spoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
How to make it
Open in kitchen mode-
Heat the fat in a heavy-based pan without letting it burn; a non-stick or steel pan gives good results.
-
Break the eggs into a bowl and beat them a little.
-
Add the milk, the salt and the black pepper.
-
Tip the mixture into the pan.
-
Once the egg begins to set, hold the pan by the handle and shake it.
-
Once the base of the omelette has turned pink and comes free of the pan, bring the two edges together over the middle with a wooden or plastic spatula.
-
Transfer it to a serving plate and serve cut into three.
